Houston C David Andersen returned to the lineup Saturday against the Nets after missing the previous three games with a back injury. Andersen scored just four points on 2 of 4 shooting while grabbing five rebounds in 10 minutes.

Clippers G Eric Gordon did not play in Saturday's contest against the Spurs because of a leg injury. It was the fifth straight game he has missed.

Orlando F Mickael Pietrus returned to the Orlando lineup Saturday after missing Thursday's contest with a neck injury. Pietrus scored just three points while grabbing two boards and blocking a shot in 12 minutes.

Detroit C Chris Wilcox did not play in his ninth straight game Saturday against the Hawks due to a back injury.

Pistons F Ben Wallace missed his sixth straight game on Saturday against the Wizards because of a knee injury.

Atlanta G Maurice Evans returned to the lineup Saturday against the Pistons after missing Friday's contest with an illness. He scored two points while adding two rebounds and an assist in 15 minutes.

Memphis F Steven Hunter did not play in Saturday's contest against the Nuggets because of a knee injury, and the team is still unsure when he will return. He has now missed 17 straight contests.

Memphis G Ronnie Brewer did not play in Saturday's contest due to a hamstring injury. He has not played since Feb. 19.

Memphis C Marc Gasol took a shot to the shoulder in the latter stages of the third quarter Saturday against the Nuggets , and went to the locker room for evaluation. The initial diagnosis was a muscle strain in his neck. He returned in the early stages of the fourth quarter. He finished the game with 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists, a block and a steal.

Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was suspended one game without pay by the NBA for making contact with a referee. Hinrich's infraction took place with 4:43 left in the Bulls' 108-95 loss at Miami on Friday night. He will miss Chicago's game at Memphis on Tuesday night.

The Spurs have signed rookie guard Garrett Temple to a 10-day contract. The signing Saturday came the day after Temple's 10-day deal with Sacramento expired. He averaged 2.2 points in five games for the Kings. Temple played nine games for the Houston Rockets under a pair of 10-day contracts, averaging five points per game. The 6-foot-6 Temple has spent most of the season with Rio Grande Valley of the NBA Development League after the Rockets waived him during training camp.

Heat guard Quentin Richardson had the hot hand on Friday night in a win over the Bulls. Q-Rich scored 23 points on 8 of 12 shooting and was ridiculous from long range with seven 3-pointers on 11 attempts. He added seven rebounds and a block over 34 minutes.

Minnesota guard Wayne Ellington matched a career high with 17 points on Friday in a loss to the Spurs. Ellington shot 7 of 10 from the field over 31 minutes and hit two 3-pointers.

Spurs PG George Hill scored 19 points Friday in a win at Minnesota. Hill, starting for the injured Tony Parker, shot 7 of 12 from the field and hit a 3-pointer. He added eight assists and a block.

Clippers C Chris Kaman recorded a double-double on Friday night in a loss at Charlotte. The big man scored 13 points on 6 of 11 shooting and added 11 rebounds and a steal.

Boston PF Glen Davis totaled 14 points in his previous three games but on Friday night in a win over the Pacers, he scored 15 in 25 minutes. Davis shot 5 of 11 from the field and went 5 of 7 from the line. He added two blocks and a steal.

One game after failing to score over 15 minutes on the court, Boston guard Nate Robinson put up 15 points in 20 minutes against Indiana Friday night. Robinson shot 5 of 9 from the field and all five field goals were 3-pointers. He added five assists and four steals in the win.

Kobe Bryant scored 20 points, added 10 rebounds and eight assists in a win over the Suns on Friday. However, Bryant injured his finger in the third quarter when Amare Stoudemire blocked his dunk attempt. "Kobe kind of messed up his hand a little bit again. He was reluctant to shoot," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "He got the ball to guys wide open, made the defense collapse. They shared the ball pretty well." Bryant did admit the injury was bothersome. "I can't hold the ball, so that's a little frustrating," Bryant said. "But it feels OK now."

Utah G Deron Williams aggravated a left shoulder injury Friday against the Bucks. He scored just 11 point on 3 of 12 shooting while dishing out nine assists and grabbing six rebounds. He did play 42 minutes however.

Sixers F Thaddeus Young scored 15 points in a loss to the Cavaliers on Friday. Young shot 7 of 14 from the floor while adding five rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes. He has now scored in double figures in back-to-back games.
